Chris has enjoyed a career in leadership of early and mid-stage biopharmaceutical companies and major divisions of big pharma spanning the last 4 decades. Chris is presently Chairman of MBF Therapeutics, Director of Noble Biomaterials, Polycore Therapeutics, Telesis Therapeutics, University City Science Center, and Member of Mentor Connect Philadelphia. Chris is the former Chairman and CEO of Marinus Pharmaceuticals, Chairman JDP Therapeutics. CEO of Protez Pharmaceuticals, Message Pharmaceuticals. President Novartis, VP Pfizer, VP SmithKline Beecham. Chris graduated with MS from Purdue University and BS from the University of Minnesota.
David Zeng, PhD
David has extensive leadership experience in the development, manufacture and commercial launch of medical devices and pharmaceutical products including proteins, vaccines and monoclonal antibodies. Prior to start at IWel Health, David was CSO and the head of R&D at Nuron where they completed the acquisition of two commercial vaccines from Pfizer. At Pfizer, he was a Full Development Team Leader, led a multinational team of development, technology transfer, and supply chain management for a late-stage biological clinical compound. He also managed the daily operation of a team of scientists in the product development of biotherapeutics. David graduated with PhD from the University of Connecticut.
Geoffrey Burgess, MD
Dr. Burgess is currently the Chief Medical Officer at IWel Health. Dr. Burgess just retired after 40 years of practice as a family medicine specialist with a focus on diabetes in the West Philadelphia area. Dr. Burgess graduated from Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine in 1975. Dr. Burgess founded Gateway Medical Associates in 1986 and worked as Medical Director at Tandigm Health (a subsidiary of Independent BlueCross) from 2014 to 2017.
Paul Kim, MD
Dr. Kim is the founder of Legacy Plastic Surgery in Chester County, PA , and was voted as “Top Doc in Plastic Surgery” by his peers for the past 20 years. Dr. Kim is currently on staff at Paoli Hospital and U Penn Chester County Hospital. He has traveled to countries all over the world (most in developing nations) where he performed life-changing operations on children and adults. Dr. Kim graduated from Columbia University and UMass Medical School in 1979.
Vlad Walko
Vlad has more than 25 years of operating, Private Equity and Investment Banking experience in the global Healthcare Industry. He currently is CEO and Fund Manager of the Hatch BioFund. Prior to that, Vlad worked at Janney focusing on a range of Investment Banking services in the Healthcare industry. Vlad founded Medical Growth Partners, a Healthcare M&A Advisory firm serving the Pharmaceutical Services, Generic Drug, Diagnostics, Medical Device, Packaging and Drug Delivery sectors in 1993. He worked for a number of years with Global HealthCare Partners before that. Vlad graduated from Stanford University with MS, MBA from Santa Clara University and BS from Villanova University.
